Owner and Director Brendan Warner has more than 35 years’ experience in underwriting, claims handling and managing aviation insurance business in the aviation market.
He has spent all of his working career in aviation insurance, with experience ranging from general aviation, airline insurance and reinsurance. He specialises in underwriting aviation insurance business.
Brendan has extensive international experience in Ireland, the London Market, Germany, Australia and the Asian aviation markets.
He is a Chartered Insurer and ACII and ANZIIF Senior Associate CIP.
We understand how important it is for your claim to be dealt with efficiently and professionally so for that reason claims reported to us are serviced and maintained in Melbourne by Neal Bucknell, Bachelor of Laws.
Neal has many decades of experience in general insurance, both in underwriting and in broking.
He has specialised in claims for 12 years and is well known to aviation insurance loss adjustors and lawyers across Australia.
He shares our vision of making the claims process as speedy and transparent as it can be for both the Insured and Broker so his understanding of the needs of both proves invaluable, particularly in the management and settlement of complex claims.

Rachel has been in the Aviation insurance industry for 12 years in various roles across underwriting, claims and general administration. She has a degree in Management and is a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) through ANZIIF and has achieved Tier 1 General Insurance Compliance (part of Cert IV Financial Services). She takes pride in her work and is committed to providing excellent customer service to brokers.
Bachelor Degree: Finance and Economics
Vicky is a highly motivated, resourceful, and confident professional with proven multitasking and organisational skills. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Melbourne in Finance and Economics and is studying for a Diploma of Financial Planning and Insurance. She has a strong work ethic utilising excellent communication and interpersonal skills on all levels.

General Insurance Code of Practice
Catalyst Consulting (Aust) Pty. Ltd. adheres to the General Insurance Code of Practice. The Code is for the protection of policyholders. It is a Lloyd’s requirement that we adhere to the Code.
The General Insurance Code of Practice 2014 came into effect on July 1, 2014, with a 12-month period for insurers to transition to the Code by June 30, 2015.
The Code, which is written in plain English, sets out the standards that general insurers must meet when providing services to their customers, such as being open, fair and honest.
It also sets out timeframes for insurers to respond to claims, complaints and requests for information from customers.
The Code covers many aspects of a customer's relationship with their insurer, from buying insurance to making a claim, to providing options to those experiencing financial hardship, to the process for those who wish to make a complaint.
All staff at Catalyst Aviation Insurance are trained in the code. This is part of our service to brokers and policyholders.
